Did you miss this amazing and touching exhibit of photographs at the National Portrait Gallery? It's alright, the Smithsonian put it up online too, so you can browse at your leisure. The pics are gorgeous and after seeing them, I immediately went home to google a lot of the subjects that I didn't recognize. Don't hate me because I love learning! I took some photos too:
