DCinema
Michael Haneke's new film "Funny Games" has been getting a lot of attention since it came out--and rightfully so. Dude rules at making movies. But don't let the hullaballoo surrounding this release distract from his excellent past work--which, lucky for us DC folks, has been playing at the Goethe Institute for the past month! Unlucky for us, the program ends on the 24th. I strongly urge you to see the final film in the series, "Variation." To be honest, I haven't seen it--which is why I will be front and center at the screening on Monday! Join me for what is sure to be a festival of heart-wrenchery.
